Project IGP
Project IGP is an ongoing work that is aimed at improving the IGP
while providing creative outlets for those who want to contribute their
talents. Applying to any of the various projects is as simple as submitting
work via an e-mail with the subject line Project Name (i.e. IGP Website), attaching any necessary
resources (i.e. html, css, images, etc.) and typing a brief message detailing and describing the work. We can
not wait to see what you create.
IGP Website
The first incarnation of the IGP was programmed by MAZO. It is quietly efficient but lacking true depth
and personality. He basically learned some css, on a need to know basis, and used some templates in order to
make this thing work. The next website should maintain or enhance the browsing schema and add edge to the IGP's
web-presence. There are a few guidelines for submissions.
The html code should conform to XHTML 1.0 Strict wherever possible.
There is to be no JAVA or Javascript (clean and simple standards complaint css solutions please).
Bowser Compliance (as best as possible) for ie5, 5.5 and 6, opera, Netscape 6 and up and Fire Fox. The site
simply needs to work so that it can be used.
RSS/XML
In the interest of providing useful tools the IGP would like the ability to update feed subscribers whenever posts
are made to the IGP site. As simple as this sounds we are willing to learn how to do this manually. If you are interested
in creating the feed or have RSS tutorials we would be most grateful.
