Game Complex

Face-Twitter

by Mazo on May.16, 2009, under Project Management

So Twitter is the “place for game developers to be”? As if blogging, igda meetings, social outings, designing, managing, business running and occasionally updating the web site was not demanding enough, social networking on line now begs to know what I am doing right now, and five minutes after that.

This “are we there yet” mentality may generate traffic, but is the time investment incentive enough to spend hours a week updating the Facebook, Twitter, etc.. Every second I spend doing these things, I do not spend Developing. Rather than documenting a daily routine, I would rather bulk update with the substance known as next iteration. My next iteration is going to be an adjustment to the main page, and preparing our plan for Dream, Build, Play Competition.
